Pioneer Warranty Group - Anybody ever hear of 'em?

I got a card from this group saying I could extend my warranty on my Volkswagen Jetta (by far the shittiest car I’ve ever owned). The cost is $1,600 to extend my warranty. It’s supposed to cover “bumper-to-bumper” repairs and services. But this sounds way too good to be true, so I did a google search to find out more about them, but all I found was a dialogue between two people on a message board talking about how these guys were crooks.

Since that’s all the feedback I have to go on, I thought I’d see if any of you guys had ever heard of these people. So, anybody heard of them or used their services? What did you think?

Since no one’s responded to this, I’m assuming that:

a) No one’s heard of the company; or
b) This thread isn’t very interesting (which it’s not).

I did some more research on the company, anyway. Volkswagen’s never heard of it, so I’m probably going to ignore these people. That said, is there anyway this thread can be closed?
