Well of course she is. Otherwise, she’d be the one paying the bills
Crap.
(Quickly looking through the rule book).
Yeppers, page 3034, paragraph 92.
Fresh food and fresh water are a MUST with my pooch. He looks at me like I’m crazy if his needs are not met. And can you say “IMPATIENT”? That’s more annoying than his ritual. He wants it to happen and he wants it to happen NOW !! Geeeezus !!!
Mayme prefers wet kibble. Not if I put water on it, of course not. She scoops out the dry kibble, dunks it in the water bowl with her paw, then eats it. If, heaven forbid, she splashes water into the kibble bowl herself, all food is inedible.
Dot is a “must be petted” when eating canned food. She will sit a foot away from the bowl until I just kinda hover my hand over her bowl. She will self-pet / eat / self-pet. I’ve thought about getting a mannequin arm and seeing if that would work - just hang it there.
The water bowl and kibble dish are on opposite sides of the kitchen. Reason: Lily (nickname: “Nougat”) likes to play in the water dish, and will get water all over the floor kitchen floor. She will soak the kibble if it’s nearby, and Morgan hates damp kibble. Morgan, as far as we know, is a plain old black cat, but she has a meow like a Siamese, and is not afraid to use it.
After Nougat has been playing in the dish, her paws are wet, her back is wet, and their water dish is empty. It’s really annoying.
Well, dudes before you say your cat is crazy (I know, they *are *crazy, but not for the “fresh kibble” reason) try this. Pour yourself a bowl of corn flakes. (Dont add milk). Next morn, pour another. Which is better? The day old stuff will be less fresh tasting and not so crisp.
No kitty Pics?
Why do I suddenly have this image of you kneeling on your kitchen floor eating day-old Kellogg’s Corn Fakes while your kittens go 'WTF"?
Tell me it was just a bad dream, please.
Meow?
No. Just NO! Don’t do this me PLEASE.:D:D:D
cornflakes. then litter box.
Man- if you cant tell those two apart, then you’re really in trouble.
Hint- the one with the little toosie rolls is NOT the corn flakes.
Mina does that, too. Apparently, the bottom of the bowl = IMMINENT STARVATION!
The bottom of the dish is no problem; it’s the FLOOR which is a problem!
There must be food on the floor first.
She watches me pour the kibble into the dish, but waits for the next step:
I must pick up 3 bits of food and place them on the floor next to the dish. She eats those bits first, and only then deigns to put her head into the dish.
If I don’t put 3 bits on the floor, she screams for an hour.
This one made me laugh and laugh this morning. Thanks for sharing!
Hors-d’oeuvres. Clearly, chppachula’s cat has refined manners.
Mitzy has agreed to one photo.
My cats are among those who don’t like to be able to see the bottom of the food bowls. The way they go on, you’d think they were on the verge of starvation, even though there is likely enough kibble around the edges to last them three days.
Great pose!
ROFL! How on earth did you ever figure it out?!? ![]()
