Well, if he enjoyed a Scooby-Doo movie, he might enjoy KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park. I seem to be one of the few people on the planet who will admit to having watched it, but when I was in elementary school, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Amazon has Kissology. Also the VHS version of the movie, though the tape is more expensive than the Kissology DVD.
Hey Piper, I have “KISS - Love it Loud - Live in Concert 2012.”
It has 17 songs from early to late hits. Sure, because it’s recorded in 2012 it’s not the original Ace or Peter (Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer respectively) but I dare anyone to tell the difference.
I think that would be perfect for The Cub. It doesn’t have a total time on it, but it’s probably about 90 minutes.
ETA: Actually I see the entire 98 minute concert is available on YouTube. Fire it up!
One of the DVDs in Kissology is the Budokan 1977 concert, when the original band was firing on all cylinders. You can probably find most of it on youtube–here’s something to get you started: Detroit Rock City.
