PiperDog is pussywhipped!

Every morning, when PiperDog comes back in, I give him a chewstick as a treat (he thinks) for his teeth (I think).

Same thing this morning - I tossed the chewstick, he went chasing after it, scooped it up, reversed course and sped off to his mat to enjoy the chewy goodness.

Stopped dead at the door to the room where his mat is, with a screeching sound of his nails on the floor.

“What’s up, dog?” I asked. (literally ) :dog:

He looked back me, sadly, then back towards his mat.

Where, you guessed it, there’s three pounds of black and white kitty, just sitting, demurely, cleaning her paw. And waiting.

PiperDog gave a “snuff” sound and walked off somewhere else to chew his treat. All 55+ lbs of great big dog.

:cat:

We’ve got a 6 month old Maine Coon. He’s a giant ball of cuddles at 9 pounds. We don’t have any other cats but we have a 200 pound mastiff, 100 lb Anatolia shepherd, and recently added my brother in law’s 100 lb husky. Ducky has decided that the three dogs are his friends/bitches.

The other morning my Anatolia ran into the bathroom looking distressed. I started petting him and comforting him and I look behind him as the cat runs into the room and immeaditly jumps on his back leg biting and pawing him. Paden kept moving into the bathroom to place himself against the far wall trying to get me between him and the cat. I ran the cat off and he stayed next to me the rest of the morning. Now it’s a common sight to watch the cat chasing the dog around the house.

With the husky ducky gets excited whenever he comes out of his room and pounces on him. He continues to pounce on him until the husky pays attention to him. Then ducky will roll on his back and bat at Diesel nose until Diesel gets bored and walks off then the death from above starts again. Ducky will sit in front of diesels room waiting for him to come out.

With the mastiff Ducky likes to play hide and seek. The mastiff wants to play with him so he chases the cat and the cat will duck into places the mastiff can’t fit and the if he isn’t found jump out at the mastiff when he walks by. If he’s found he stays in his hole as the mastiff tries to push his way into the hiding spot
