Pit Bull Attacks Go On?

We’re playing the “dominant vs recessive” game here. Other traits of an Artificial Pariah (I admit it’s my own term) is a weight in the neighborhood of 40 pounds, a muzzle that is halfway between a Collie and a Pug, a “musty muzzle” (one that goes white as the dog ages), and an upright tail. (anecdote alert) I live across from a park and have often asked owners of dogs that look much like mine what their dogs were. Answers are always along the lines of, “The mother was a _____ and we think the father was a _____.” Blanks are filled with assorted breeds, like my Lab/Corgi.

Um, if you look into the history of dog breeds you will see that most are very recent developments.* “Know nothing” describes you, not me.

ETA: * - And what was originally described is little like the modern breed standard.

What are you on about? You tried to claim that a black dog with a white bib “is what you get when you cross breeds that are too far apart”, which makes no genetic sense, and now you are babbling about “Artifiical Pariahs”.

Depends on what you want to consider “very recent”. However, no matter what your definition is, both Pointers and Dals have been breeding pure for decades, for uncounted generations. If any hound blood was used to create either breed, it’s been extremely diluted by now.

Again, I don’t know what you are trying to say. What was originally described? You mean the very spotted Pointers you called Dalmatian Pointers? If so, so? Just because a dog has a bunch of spots, it isn’t a Dal or a Dal cross.
