Pitting Honeybadger

To quote someone upthread:

Basically, this thread’s guest of dishonor is the prime example of the symmetric axiom of under the bridge dwelling.

Bullshit! You like many others on here read the accusations and assume they are true.

. When you are not allowed to clarify yourself in a conversation you are talking to trolls. You are one of the trolls my friend. A small group here runs off anyone that doesn’t swallow all your bullshit.

Or, read the thread in question, and knows they are true.

This is more bullshit from you. The only things you were told you are not allowed to do is threadshitting and spreading your climate science denial bullshit. And you really should hie back to the thread where you pulled a twofer on that and cogitate on what you were really and gasp truly told what you cannot do.

Seriously, you are so far from Truth that if someone living in Truth were asked how to get to where you are, the only proper response would be, “You can’t get there from here.”

I read the thread. Hell, you should know that, i participated a little in the thread.

No doubt seminal fluid and spinal fluid are chemically similar. So are snot and lymph and spit. Our whole bodies are mostly water, with the same basic building blocks used over and over. Biologists can tell how stressed whales are by measuring the levels of hormones they shed in their feces. The same hormones you’d find in the seminal fluid, and spinal fluid, and blood, and… And all of our systems are closely related to each other. If any one part goes, the others instantly get wobbly.

is a dumb claim.

Sertoli Cells

Surrounding all stages of the developing sperm cells are elongate, branching Sertoli cells. Sertoli cells are a type of supporting cell called a sustentacular cell, or sustentocyte, that are typically found in epithelial tissue. Sertoli cells secrete signaling molecules that promote sperm production and can control whether germ cells live or die. They extend physically around the germ cells from the peripheral basement membrane of the seminiferous tubules to the lumen. Tight junctions between these sustentacular cells create the blood–testis barrier, which keeps bloodborne substances from reaching the germ cells and, at the same time, keeps surface antigens on developing germ cells from escaping into the bloodstream and prompting an autoimmune response.

This is the same blood barrier present in the rest of the brain and spinal canal.

What does that have to do with anything? Just dropping definitions of different types of cells with no explanation isn’t furthering your claim.

Please be specific about what claim I am making that you have a problem with, and I will do my best to address it. If we can get past all the bullshit there is a good conversation to be had on this topic.

Why did you randomly post a definition of Sertoli Cells?

So you’re leaving then?

I have skin on my foot and also skin on my scalp! Therefore, my foot is the closest thing to my scalp. There are veins in my arm and also in my ear. Therefore, ears and arms are the most closely related. There are nerve cells in my brain and nerve cells in my pinky, therefore Pinky and the Brain!

This really is what all your arguments sound like. Except “pinky and the brain” is funny, and suggests the poster is self-aware.

To be blunt, it’s obvious you don’t know squat about biology and you are reading random crap and drawing random connections that don’t actually make any sense.

That’s not a nice thing to say to @RitterSport [/D&R]

Sorry, @RitterSport

Haha!

What are we gonna do tonight, Brain?

Try and … avoid responding to trollish idiots!

I don’t have any sperm. :scream:

You guys are being too harsh on Honeybadger anyways, he’s just a Preformationist!

But unsurprising when made by a dickhead.

The pit is probably the best place to discuss this. That way you all can tell me how you really feel, and I can do the same. The level at which I was attempting to approach this does not require highly detailed knowledge of biochemistry. I was simply trying to establish a link between behavior, environment and traits we pass on. My first assertion is that the hormones, acids, proteins and other chemicals that are unique to each individual and highly influenced by environmental conditions are present in the reproductive system in more than just a casual way. I believe it is common knowledge that hormones affect the development of various types of tissues. Some of the most obvious expressions of these hormones would be gender and all the physical differences associated with that as well as well as traits such as aggression or shyness. These are obvious things that are easy to recognize. Why would it be outlandish to think that there are also many subtle influences that are also important but harder to identify? Why is it outlandish to think these hormones can affect the behavior of sperm and play a part in the selection process? I was hoping to simply gloss over this entire biological process if I could at least establish there was a possibility here and jump right into the behaviors themselves that might be able to have some influence via brain chemistry on the next generation.
