Generally, I use it very similar to “christian” or “caucasian” depending on context. It’s the exact same in my mind to say “secular Jew therapist” and “secular Jewish therapist”. In the context of that quote, I don’t think I really loaded it up with anti-Semitism with that slight alteration.
