BERLIN (Reuters) - A study has found that the standard European Union size of condom is often too big for German men, a magazine reported Sunday. Focus magazine said a study by leading German condom manufacturer Condomi found standard-sized condoms falling off half of the men studied. “The average German penis is about 3.5 to 4 millimeters (0.13 to 0.15 inches) too narrow for the standard EN 600 condom,’’ the magazine wrote. The EU set the EN 600 guidelines for rubber condoms in 1996 to establish a uniform standard across Europe.”

I think the funniest thing about this is that there is actually a European condom standard. First the metric system, and now this. They’re really trying to make up for that Dark Ages thing.
So why does there need to be a uniform standard size for CONDOMS across Europe? Most Europeans I’ve known struck me as not too suave or sexy. Does everybody in Europe get laid so much that they need to leave their country for a change of scene?

As for the change of scene, most people choose Amsterdam for that. But I already live there
FWIW, I didn’t even know we had a uniform condom size here. But I must admit I chuckled when I read the OP. First we beat them in the war, then at soccer and now this! Poor Gerries eh
I don’t remember where I read it, but I did read a story once about Stalin and Roosevelt.
At whatever conference it was, Stalin complained that he wasn’t getting enough supplies. He added that condoms were scarce. As a joke, Roosevelt asked what size was needed? Stalin responded 16 inches (expressed in metric, I am sure), “the standard Soviet Army issue.” Roosevelt had one made up 16 inches long, stamped “size -small” and sent it to Stalin.
