I assume you’re thinking of planck time, planck length, etc. Read about Max Planck and quantum theory.
However, this is a wee bit different. It happens to be my paternal surname. When I was really really reallly little, I didn’t understand the difference between grampa max and grampa anything or grampa ray even.
Thing is, curiously, grampa max took me flying.
Most all grampas we refer to are living.
I am beginning to understand ‘bedtime stories’ grampamax told me.
And I’ve never read anything about Max_Planck other than knowing generally what plancktime, plancklength, etc refer to.

I think ‘Planck’ as a term, has crept into a number of other areas as an idiom simply meaning ‘indivisibly small’.
