Go see a proper doctor.
I was just diagnosed with this last week after about 6 months of worsening pain. My doctor told me the stretches to try before getting out of bed, as well as insoles.
Thing is, 6 months ago I was wearing barefoot runners a lot, and spent a lot of time on uneven terrain.
Since the diagnosis, I have switched to wearing only comfortable sneakers with the insoles in. Just a week later, I have seen a notivable improvement.
Which insoles did you doctor recommend?
Anecdotal but worth throwing in: my 65 year old ballroom dance teacher tried and got relief from acupuncture, which was kind of a last-ditch effort for her. Could have killed her career but she’s still going.
I did the night boot/splint thing that keeps your foot at a right angle. I was religious about wearing it, and it took months, but it fixed it.
That was about 5 years ago, and I haven’t had any problems since.
Good luck.
I forget the actual brand. He suggested any were good. The nurse ended up giving me a generic pair from the closet.
