So my inlaws are farmers and have bees, and they have a glass-sided observation hive to use on farm-tour events or outreach/educational whatsits.
However, they’re wanting to show people what the frames look like at different stages. A wax foundation is no biggie, but to show actual capped honey or emptied comb (after it’s been spun-extracted) would be super messy and attract bees to the tourists/audience.
Is there anyone you know of or anywhere one could order a plastic model of what an empty and what a capped frame would look like?
