The original phrase is “buck naked” and appears in print in English in 1928. “Butt nekid” may be acceptable in today’s world, but it weren’t the original.
And, from what I know as an outside observer, Hef has relinquished control to his daughter, who made the decision some time ago to compete with more intimate shots.
