I’m not surprised to see Playboy publishing “The Women of Enron” – they’ve always been clever about jumping onto a publicity bandwagon (like when they published “The Women of 7-11”, after they’d been banned from the convenience stores):
What I like is the picture of former Enron guys poring over the issue. It’s as if : “Well, I may have been laid off, but at least I can see my former co-workers naked.”
My copy is always delivered on the last weekend of the month. I’ll be sitting by my mailbox this weekend waiting for the postman, in fact you can usually see me by my mailbox on the last Saturday of evey month.
Down here it usually gets to my mailbox mid-month. OTOH this issue as announced, should be interesting – not only do I get the Women of Enron but also a boricua Playmate.
Of course, a better WOE pictorial would feature them properly disciplining Kenneth Lay and the Enron and Arthur Andersen Directors… with strap-ons. Oh, well, maybe Penthouse
Glanced once at the pictorials and moved on to the interviews as usual. Trust Playboy to turn perfectly normal attractive women into heavily airbrushed Barbie dolls…
…not that that’s necessarily a BAD thing, mind you…
