My PS2 has had DVD reading issues since a few weeks after I bought it, and keeping it vertical actually helps a lot. My brother bought a PS2 several months later, and that one hasn’t had any trouble so far.
erislover: You should be able to rent Vice City… after you’ve played it for 5 days, the $50 price tag will start looking like a bargain.
