As a video director/editor, I worked on several housekeeping training videos for the hotel/motel industry. I heard a lot of horror stories about how things were done wrong…and yours tops them all. Eeeeeeewwwwwww…
If you can’t get them kicked off the contract all together, you have to insist that they at least institute a complete training program for their employees. Judging by the fact that the woman did that even though you were in the apartment, I’d hazard a guess that she doesn’t even know how disgustingly gross and negligent that is. Not to excuse her ignorance, but this woman obviously was never trained properly, and the company shares full responsibility for her screw-ups. The cost of training will certainly be less than the cost of lawsuits that will follow otherwise.
