This thread reminded me of this one From notebook code to the actual program with C++ where the OP wanted to start learning coding with C++. The majority of recommendations was to start with something like Python instead of C++ which I agree with. I didn’t join the dog pile at the time but later thought of an analogy. If you want to learn to juggle you should start with bean bags (Python) instead of chainsaws (C++).
