Little boy is trying to communicate with a monster, which cannot talk. He has a sign around his neck. He points to his mouth to indicate he wants food, but the little boy doesn’t know what kind of food the monster likes or will eat, so he offers him everything he can think of. I think pancakes were either the ultimate solution or one of the offerings, and then the monster was happy.
