There’s a show and an (unrelated) movie that I can’t, for the life of me, remember the names of. Bad description follows:
For the TV Show, I believe it was something new (and currently or recently airing) since I only saw two episodes. It revolved around a lab administrator, his evil boss, and all of the wacky mad scientists who work for their unambiguously evil corporation. The two episodes I saw involved 1) Cryogenically freezing a reluctant researcher and trying to get him to not sue the company when he gets severe PTSD and experiences uncontrollable screaming fits after being thawed out, and 2) Horrifying attempts to grow steaks from cells, as to produce food without butchering cows.
Does that ring any bells?
Second, there’s a movie that looked interesting based on the one trailer I saw for it, but I forgot what it was called: I believe this was a few years back, but it appeared to be a comedy/romantic comedy revolving around a (female) physician who died, turned into a ghost, and started bugging the guy who moved into her old apartment Whoopi-Goldberg style. But that’s all I remember.
So do either of these sound familiar to anyone?
