Please, Help me with FineReader 7.0 OCR

I have some tire catalogues that I need to transfer into Excel. For this job I am using Abbyy Finereader 7.0, but the recognition function is not working as expected. It confuses the fonts, text layout, text sizes and sometimes inserts parts of the text as picture. Here is a sample image: http://briefcase.pathfinder.gr/download/dog80/36402/438824/0/0005.tif

Am I doing something wrong? Should I use another OCR?

in my experience FineReader gets kind of confused when the image isn’t on a standard sized medium. I don’t know why, but OCRing a small pamphlet was a night mare when it does Letter sized sheeets perfectly. Might be because it’s harder to align something smaller. Try rescanning it with higher resolution, and on a letter sized sheet.

FineReader has a couple of page analysis parameters, ColumnAnalysisMode and SplitOnlyBySeparators, which affect how it handles tabular data. Have you tried various options for ColumnAnalysisMode?
