Shooting and killing unarmed civilians (which Trump will order you to do) is a WAR CRIME. You are not required to follow these orders. I know you will do the right and brave thing and stand down if ordered to do so.

You think an order from Trump to shoot peaceful citizens is imminent? I’d disagree.
Well, shooting rubber bullets and tear gas is kosher then so as to get a bizarre photo “opportunity”.
If Trump does anything like this, those who support him will swear up and down that the victims weren’t “peaceful,” and therefore deserved to die. It’s not like he’s going to say outright, “mow down the protestors, no matter what they do.” He’ll provoke and lie first to put a veneer of justice over it.
It’s up to you whether you believe him.
He’s already doing that, calling the protesters members of antifa, an oxymoron if I’ve ever heard one, based on zero evidence. Barr is doing the same, calling antifa a terrorist organization – how can you be an organization when there’s no actual group, membership, or, well, organization? It’s today’s version of communist sympathizer.
So, he won’t tell the military to shoot “innocent protesters”, it will be to shoot “terrorist members of antifa”, basically, anyone he wants to shoot.
Also, rubber bullets can actually kill. Not often, but the more of them there are flying around, the greater likelihood it will happen.
Disobedience to orders is punishable under the UCMJ and therefore illegal.
