Heh… There’s always two sides to any story, eh? Just the other day a bunch of co-workers and I were standing around in the break room praising Bank of America and talking about how much we hate SouthTrust (not SunTrust, I know, but…) I’ve been a BofA customer for 3+ years now and I have to admit, I love 'em. And since I got my mortgage through them they give me pretty much everything else (interest checking, platinum check card, etc.) for free now. Anyway, at least here in west central Florida the consensus seems to be that Bank of America is good.
They are crediting my account the amount of the fraudulent charges. they said they will bill the three agencies that appear on my statement. I also had to sign an affadavit swearing that the charges were indeed fraudulent.
This is not over yet, and I did not mean to imply that it is. I also filled out a ploice report. I was told that if the perpetrators are caught, I would need a police report case number in order for the companies involved to tell me whodunnit. Oh boy I hope they are caught. I just don’t see how they get away with this. I mean the money went SOMEWHERE. How hard can it really be? I’m sure it’s not really that simple. I guess I just don’t have enough imagination to lead a life of crime LOL.
