Please recommend an inexpensive digital camera for a 6 year old

My 6 year old twin girls have recently become very interested in photography. I’d like to get them cameras for Christmas. Being 6 year olds immediate gratification is a priority for them so I’d like to go digital so they can view their pictures soon after taking them. However being 6 years old they aren’t likely to take very good care of them so I’d like to find something as inexpensive as possible, hopefully under $40, that’s not a toy.

Any suggestions?

Crayola 2.1 Megapixel Digital Camera. Seriously. The damn thing is close to indestructable, unless we’re talking 2 stories onto concrete. They’re about $40 on Amazon.

Vtech Kidizoom Camera is also VERY highly rated. $52 on Amazon. If you have the extra $$, it’s probably worth it.

We bought a cheap digital for our 5 year old at Fry’s. I think it’s a Vivitar and it was $20. And it came in RED!

I bought one for work at CVS pharmacy for $20 and it’s worked great since April.

I bought the Kidizoom for my 3yo niece, but it was closer to $40. So far, so good. It’s pretty solid.
