I’ve read quite a bit about the fabulously wealthy and the Robber Barons. What I’d like to read now is a non-fiction book about the everyday lives of wealthy families in 19th Century America, those who didn’t need to work and had servants and palatial homes but who were not quite rubbing elbows with the Carnegies or J. Pierpont Morgans.
Can anyone recommend a title?
Thanks!
