Please say it isn't so. Bad bad bad dream. Blue Spiders. With teeth, oh my!

Self explanatory topic title.

I still wanna run and hide.
Gah!!!

Yeah, that’d keep me from getting back to sleep, too.

You mean like this?

If in my nightmares I saw something surreal like blue spiders with teeth, that would actually be more comforting because it would be unrealistic and clue me in that it was a dream. But unfortunately my nightmare-spiders are usually the realistic kind, just bigger or more aggressive.

I’ve been having some old nightmares recently but always with a different twist. I’m told these are stress nightmares, which is fitting, as I am out of work and scared. But thankfully they are missing blue spiders with teeth. That might be too bad for me, Beck. I hope you got some good sleep in there.

Cool! Maybe when the school opens up again one of these guys can be my library spider.

Isn’t it amazing that your subconscious, which is, after all, merely a part of your brain, can come up with such horrifying visuals that it gives the rest of your brain the heebie-jeebies?

I hope you dream about comforting things tonight, like Bayliss snoozing in the sunshine.

Also, I’m going to borrow “Blue Spiders with Teeth” as a concept. Stay tuned.

And then what happened?

Genetic engineering project?

I wish I’d dream of spiders, instead of my usual late for a final exam I never attended classes for and I’m clad in only underwear dream.

He wants blue spiders, the kind with teeth
Cause he knows there’s no such thing.
