Early this morning US time, my Fierra was taken by ambulance to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. She was treated for it and eventually released, and will be heading home soon.
She still is feeling very under-the-weather, as can be expected. Can people please send her some get-well wishes?

Well, I don’t want to go into the details of how I found out, as it is too traumatic for me to relate. How it happened - she has been running her heater lately (stupid cold-ass English weather, in July of all times!) and well, the heater isn’t doing too well evidently…shudder.
Like I posted in GQ - I was about to go flying over there later this afternoon if I didn’t get some assurance that she was alright. Shit, if the Concorde was running again out of New York I would have cashed in all my BA air miles to upgrade to a Concorde ticket over there, just so I could cut 3 hours off of the trip…
Damn, I was so scared!!!

I’m OK now, guys - your concern should be towards my poor little Fierra. I did learn that I have the ability to scream at police officers in other countries to get them to do things they are reluctant to do. I re-affirmed that when someone I love is threatened, one does not get in my way.
Fierra was able to get the ambulance to come by herself, so she didn’t do too badly. She should be heading home at this moment, in fact.
