Plural of clitoris?

Clitorii, clitora as in flora, what the heck is the plural? Silly college debates, we’re way too bored.

If you are confronted by more than one, you will be overwhelmed and it won’t matter what you call them. Praise be.

Dude, did you ever consider looking in a dictionary?

wow, they sure left out the “SDMB regulars can be cocky jerks” in the trial offer description. relax pal, it was a joke post. sorry to tarnish your heavenly board.

Well, you did set up yourself with the comment, “Silly college debates, we’re way too bored.”

If you had left that out, you would have received the answer you sought but without the side commentary. Besides, Earl pointed out the should be obvious, especially to one spending their current hours learning how do study and research topics on their own, without having their hand held.

As covered in a previous staff report it’s “clitorides”.

I love that report, and have made it my personal life mission to say ‘clitorides’ at every (appropriate) juncture. BTW, just to be clear - it says ‘clitorises’ is also acceptable (which would probably get you fewer odd looks with the majority of non-latin-scholar people).

How often does one find an opportunity to use the plural? Lucky woman who has more than one.

“Send me a mongoose. And while you’re at it, send another one.”

And lucky the man who has more than one… Seriously, when discusssing clitorides in general, you’d say “all ~”, or “~ are…” etc.

All your clitorides are belong to us.

I have always used the term “orgy”.
