Supporting gender affirming care for prisoners is a sort of inevitable result of holding these two values:

  1. Gender affirming care is medically necessary.
  2. The state has a responsibility to provide for the medical care of people they’ve incarcerated.

I’m not clear which of those two principles you disagree with.
