poetic spam

You ever get these?

It goes on longer, but you get the idea. Turns out it’s not poetry, at least not human, creative poetry, according to http://www.wired.com/news/infostructure/0,1377,61886,00.html

In any case, I like these. This is the kind of spam I can actually enjoy. And yes I know that if I want it, it’s not spam, but you know what I mean. Befallen Grapefruit would be a good name for a band. Or maybe not.

Wow - it’s certainly less tedious than the spam I get. Spam with a sort of free-form Vogon poety aspect to it. Now that the person has stopped concentrating on losing weight, s/he can learn to use a dictionary or a spelling checker. Aint it wonderful?

I get similar messages, but the sane part is much shorter. (in the example I’ll use your message’s poetry)

I get this stuff all the time too.

I’d rather see some original haiku spam.

I recently got a spam with a subject line of “Circumspect Fiesta,” which might not make a good band name, but might just be a great album title.

The spammers seem to have moved from writing free-form poetry to entire free-form epics. This was tacked on to the bottom of some spam I got today, in tiny 1-pixel letters:

Sheesh! Do you think that these clumps of random words are actually designed to get by spam filters, or are they just picking words at random, and hoping to get lucky?
