I live in the southern part of Los Angeles County. I have a Polaroid Square Shooter 2 a friend gave me about 20 years ago., Until recently I had not used it–for about 17 years. Do any other Southern California Dopers know where I can get film for it, if it’s available at all?
My Mom has one of those. She wrote to the company a few years ago and got film for it. She’s purchased a newer one since, so I won’t swear they can still provide it.
However, I did a bit of snooping around on it, ans saw that it uses Polaroid 88 film. I think that particular film has been discontinued, although there might be some still left in stock. I think the replacement film was called VIVA, but I could be wrong. In any case, I know that the professional photo supply place that I frequent kept a steady stock of 88 when it was available, so that’s where I would start–well, not at the one that I frequent, but you get the idea.
