I would strongly suggest sending all of those asshole, psychopathic boys to Australia, dumping them in the middle of the furthest area of the outback and then just let them fend for themselves.
It would be an interesting experiment, to see if they could get guns, and if not, if they would begin beating folks up the side of the head instead of shooting them. ![]()
I just want to clarify one thing: Tim Fischer, who called for the boycott, is a former deputy prime minister of Australia. The current PM (Kevin Rudd) is in the middle of an election campaign, and is unlikely to do anything so controversial.
Chicago would be cheaper and the outcome would be less in question.
The evils of sugar strike once again.
I thought it was odd the sheriff was so quick to announce there was no reason, just another boring hot day. Really? You’re so sure, so soon?
That’s reportedly what the 17-year-old said. As part of a confession that was presumably a plea bargain in order to get tried as a juvenile and not an adult as the others. Associated Press via CBS News:
The 17 year old looks like a white guy to me. Oh, and the Chicago Tribune has a video on their site from a TV station early this morning that shows pictures of the kids and their parents. The 17 year old’s mother is most definitely white.
Dump em in the middle of the outback as suggested and they’ll be dead in 3 days. No question.
As an Aussie, the race of the 3 alleged perps didn’t cross my mind until I saw the mugshots, then the first thing I wondered was whether it was racially motivated or whether Chris just happened to be the first and best option.

We’re so much more than a random shooting, but that’s the only thing that gets reported across the pond…
[/QUOTE]
We get quite a bit of USA news in Aus, generally about politics but every time a major shooting happens we get smother coverage which does tend to reinforce a stereotype a bit.

It was their guy, and since they can’t have guns, they are jealous of ours.

Yeah right.
There are now as many, if not more, guns in Australia than there were before the 1996 buy-back.
You know, I’m reading about this 19-year-old shooting in a Georgia school with an AK-47, and how he has no ties to the school, and I’m just shocked at how violent our youth are today, going to shoot a school up for no reason.
But here CNN and Yahoo and CBS aren’t mentioning the race of the shooter, but they’re only showing black people going to the school to get the kids.
Oh wait, a local station finally mentions the guy is white.
Am I the only one who finds it odd that no major news source would identify that?
School mass shootings are synonymous with “white male.” Try again.
And in the same period the population has increased from 18 million to 23 million.
Also, the guns that are owned now are different guns. Those that were banned in 1996 remain banned. The absolute number of guns may have reached pre-1996 levels again, but they don’t include the assault weapons that the legislation targeted.
“I don’t like Monday’s.”
Monday’s what?
So apparently, Jones, the driver, breaks down in tears and says he “didn’t pull the trigger” after hearing he’s going to be getting a very long jail sentence. This is how dumb teens can be. If you drive your friend so he can murder someone, what do you expect, six months juvie?

Really this is the best you can do
Some things are not to be joked about.
Humor…it is a difficult concept. ![]()
Well, except for when you don’t like Mondays.
