Oops, I forgot just about every sex scene in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, but I’m probably biased since I have the major hots for Daniel Day-Lewis.
I’d also say Cruel Intentions… but not SMG.
Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon had an absolutely phenomenal sex scene. rawr
My favorite has always been the one with Jeff Goldblum and Emma Thompson in The Tall Guy because it’s fun and funny. None of this saxophones-n-slo-mo self-seriousness at all, nope.

It’s not a sex scene, but I melted when Eddie Izzard and Kirsten Dunst played charades in The Cat’s Meow.
Cervais beat me to it. The Tall Guy is a clear leader, a perfect mix of unbridled passion and fruit salad.
No sex, per se, but the “Fly Me” number in All That Jazz is an erotic high point.
Mickey Rourke and Lisa Bonet really go at it in Angel Heart. It helps if you like blood-soaked rooms and flashes of orgies in Hell. But hay, who doesn’t?

For guy/girl my choice is any scene in Body Heat , even the ones that Kathleen Turner kept her clothes on. That movie oozed sex, so to speak.

One that immediately comes to mind for me is Alyssa Milano and this photographer chick in Embrace of the Vampire. Dunno how mainstream it is and it doesn’t go very far but it makes me hot just thinking on it.
Fire on the Amazon w/ Sandra Bullock, before Speed. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. If they weren’t actually having sex then it’s the best damned acting I’ve ever seen.
