Around my sister: make sure I belch as loudly as possible, and do one of the following:

I used to. All the time. Even if it was barely audible. Then my SO starting teasing me about them and rating them, trying to get me to burp louder and louder. He says mine are pathetic. Now I just excuse myself around everyone but him.
Always. Automatically, even if I’m alone and the silly thing was inaudible. Of course, I also use my turn signals every time I turn anywhere, even into the driveway when the street is empty.
Guess I’m just a little compulsive.
I never apologize when I burp. I let it rip, then I say," ahh, that felt good, there’s more room outside than inside.". I also think it’s funny when other people burp. I always laugh about it.
