What moral language? I never used that phrase. Not sure what you mean.
Do you really think that there are just ‘opinions,’ and that’s that? There are no differences between types of opinion?
And that’s completely unconnected to what most people consider immoral, is it?
By “moral language” I just meant saying “that’s immoral” or talking about a person’s “moral responsibility” etc.–basically the whole panoply of stuff people say that involves the word “moral.”
And I think I’ve explained my opinion on your last two questions. They are just opinions that give more information about what the speaker means.
I never said that and don’t believe it. All I said was that it’s ridiculous to speak of going to jail for doing something immoral–you’d have to do something illegal to go to jail. If that illegal action is also immoral in some person’s opinion, then OK, whatever, but it doesn’t change the fact that you can’t go to jail just for doing something immoral.
