A quick google seems to indicate sensing someone’s gaze (even when you’re not looking at them) is a thing. And no, it’s not all psychic phenomenon type stuff either. There are other more prosaic explanations to account for it.
Your first link is an opinion piece, the second link says that we are “hard-wired” to believe that strangers are watching us, and the third link states that “However, it turns out we can only reliably detect such gaze within four degrees of our central fixation point.”
The fact that, if you turn around to see if anyone is looking at you:
- You will remember the times it happens
- There is a good chance that if you turn around anyone behind you will look as if they are looking at you because they are already looking in your general direction unless they are walking backwards, and
- The act of turning around is likely to cause people to look at you just to see why you are turning around,
(Am I the only one to open this thread expecting a discussion about anuses?)

When I let my finger hover closely over ANY part of my body, I feel that tingling. So I don’t think it has anything to do with the “third eye.”

I thought I was the only one! I don’t like touching my forehead because of this it hurts my head when I do. I also heard it’s because you can sense things that other people usually can’t but I really don’t know why it does that. When I was young I just told my friends that I can tell what should be next to your forehead and what can go near your forehead Ik stupid.
