As a matter of fact, I have been known to buy foods on ebay. Wheat germ and that sort of thing, which is ridiculously expensive or hard to find here.
I’ve bought a ton of clothes for my kids and myself on ebay. Since I’m in the process of losing the equivalent of a ten-year-old kid, I don’t want to buy new clothes (although sometimes I get new with tags things on ebay for great deals) and then only be able to wear them for a month or so.
Last week I was helping a freind out handling one of her accounts while she was away. That one has a rating of 14080 with a possitive feedback of 99.1% Whenever I do anything E-bay related I tend to use that account.
Ebay’s been going for quite a few years now, so those who started early can easily have a hundred odd feedback without buying or selling at all often.

I have twice as many feedback as you do! Now I have a reason to puff out my chest proudly. I kid, I kid.
2 feedback, 100% positive. Both as a buyer. I want to sell some stuff, but shipping to be quite honest baffles me.

My eBay store, Flaming River Art, has 243 transactions @ 100%.
Canada Post has a website where you can calculate how much it’ll be to mail stuff.
Are Dopers just naturally honest and efficient? 274 feedback and 100% positive here. I buy and sell, and guarantee instant refund if the item isn’t exactly as described. I also pay immediately and charge zero for “handling fees”.

I mostly buy stuff but went through a period where I sold a whole lot. If you want to sell anything on eBay you need to build up a feedback history so your potential buyers will know you are a good guy.

My negative was based on the fact that even though I paid for and ultimately kept the item, I challenged the seller that she didn’t describe accurately. She insisted she did, even though she was way off and I let it drop. She gave me bad feedback anyway. She had several negative and is no longer registered.
I am currently waiting for 11 feedback on items I recently shipped. I expect them to all be positive.
This sentence is supposed to read, “She had several negative responsed after that…”
I was stung by others on EBay who didn’t deliver and then left negative feedback when I got Paypal to refund me.
15 for 15, another 100% positive here. Hooray for me!

1 neg from an asshole after I gave polite Neutral explaing how long he took to ship.
I guess I should have about 60, if it wasn’t for sellers holding feedback hostage
100% 250 feedbacks. And about 30 that are being held hostage.

I’d say about 90% of them are for selling. As a seller I always left feedback upon payment, and as a buyer I always left feedback when I received it.
