When you say “Man in black” I think Johnny Cash
What Cicada2003 said.
Real answer; Johnny Cash.
Answer I’d allow: Dread Pirate Roberts/Wesley.
I would think of Stephen Kings man in black first, but probably answer Johnny Cash.
Johnny Cash
Definitely Johnny Cash.
Johnny Cash.
Johnny Cash - there is no substitute
Johnny Cash.
Man in back: Johnny Cash.
Men in black: J and K
In the States, it’s definitely Johnny Cash. However, I see that you’re from the UK. That could alter the answer dramatically.
Yup, another vote for Johnny Cash.
Being singular I just thought of J
Johnny Cash
My first thought was Dread Pirate Roberts, but I certainly see how Johnny Cash fits.
The story behind this is: (I know at least some of you will be waiting for this)
I took part in a phone-in radio quiz show New Years Day in which you have to answer questions right consecutively until you get one wrong, upon which you get cut off and the next caller goes on.
I was asked this question and answered, after a fleeting thought of the movie (as elfkin77 pointed out), Johnny Cash. Upon which I was cut off.
The answer the phone-in host gave: Valentine Dial.
Hi, I’m Johnny Cash.
No matter what the radio says.
CASH
Another vote for Dread Pirate Roberts.
