Polyphonic Spree? What's up with that?

Their albums have never lived up to their concept, but their live shows are transcendent.

I absolutely love this band.

I first saw them on Austin City limits. I couldn’t figure out what the hell I was watching. I hope to see them live someday.

Their cover of Nirvana’s Lithium is amazing.

Crap, I’m stuck on the second screen of the questfortherest.

Clue? Anyone?

They are amazing live, they have an incredible happy vibe and you can’t help feeling uplifted and joyful at a gig.

For your amusement, sock puppet video for Polyphonic Spree’s Lithium:

They were the opening act for David Bowie when I saw him in Boston a few years ago. I was, well, underwhelmed. I believe I went to the bathroom for a large portion of their set.

Hint.

Spoiler.

Check out the ferns.

Also, on some of these games you have to scroll down in your browser to see the bottom of the image. Don’t know if that’s the deal on this one or not.

Isn’t that what Wayne said when he went to a Butthole Surfers show?

How could this thread go this far without mentioning their famous appearance on Scrubs?

Here you go:

Thanks for the hints, guys!

I got through the first screen, and was beginning to puzzle out the second when my wifey noticed what I was doing and promptly took over the computer and chewed through the rest of that game and then the 2 others as well.

Now she wants more… :smack:

There are many excellent point and click adventure games on the market to choose from. If the genre is new to you, start with “Riven”, like I did. But that’s another thread.

Aaaaah…

Happy happy happy hippie happy happy flappy snappy sappy.

{{:D}} <----Do those look like dreds? Close enough.

I’ve been listening to these guys since Together We’re Heavy came out in 2004.

They’re like the unholy union between Up With People and the Hari Krishnas.

Robin

This the third funniest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say about a band.
The funniest is quoted here
The second funniest is the review of Angels and Airwaves (#6) posted here when it gets to the parts about herpes and timber wolves.
Then your quote. You rock.
