When I grew up there were goldfish in ponds. Then there were fancy goldfish, then koi. Now there’s Oranda and Shabunkin. Does anybody have the straight dope on what all difference between all the carp are? Websites seem to contradict each other.
essentially they are just mutations that gain in popularity depending on the current fads in the breeder societies. (Or market in some cases).
