Poor Poor Boston

Meanwhile, here in the sunny South West, we are having one of the warmest winters on record. The only down side is that allergy season is starting like 2 months early. Like you, I had to muddle through 60 degree weather here today (might actually get to 70 this week), so I had to wear a jacket in to work this morning. Brrrrr…

It’s hilarious when Boston tries to be a real city.

it’s driving them to jump out of upper story windows.

Code Red??!! Are they rounding Hispanics up for internment or something?

I feel for you. In the Bay Area it was 75 last weekend.

BTW, the reason for the blizzards is obvious. God is a Seattle fan. And a couple of coaches we know have a very poor afterlife to look forward to.

Not until after they finish setting up the smudge pots in the citrus orchards.

Oh, I don’t know. I imagine hell is pretty nice if you’re in charge.

 Loser. Why, here in San Antonio I’ve already had to cut my grass twice this month.

:stuck_out_tongue:

We here in Florida who are used to 80 degree weather are suffering in this cold snap, believe you me. That’s why when we whine about it being in the 50s we preface it with the obligatory " I hate to complain, seeing as the Northeast has it so bad". And then we complain anyway. Everything is relative, yo.

I live in Boston and I like the snow (doesn’t mean I won’t be happy when Spring comes). Last night I was at a cafe listening to two people whine and threaten to move to California. Pantywaists!

More than one: http://photos-e.ak.instagram.com/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t51.2885-15/928918_769534089805900_2141954336_n.jpg

You are forgiven.
I hate to complain also - it is only 1F and a wind-chill factor of 15 below of The Devils’ Breath.

Tell you what.
We will bring freshly made ice-cubes to your 80 degree pool-party in exchange for tales of crawling helplessly through 12 foot snowdrifts to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee, of which 10 out of 10 were closed due to weather.

:D:D

Yeah, but there is always next year when we will whoop your behinds.
Guess who, and what team? lol

Poor thing. We’re at a toasty 3F here in the Steel City, and our wind chill is only -9.

Here in the SF Bay Area, we had fog until past noon today! And we barely bested 65 F on the ol’ thermometer!!

Man, fuck football. It’s a sport played by violent felons that causes irreversible brain damage and reduces life expectancy by over a decade. Teenagers regularly get concussions and lifelong joint damage from football. Try basketball. They’re in better health, they live longer, and they don’t murder as many people. LOL

I live 30 minutes outside of Boston and I’m tired of hearing about it. A lot of Boston’s suffering is self inflicted due to lack of preparation and investment. Worcester is 45 minutes from Boston and has received more snowfall than anywhere else in the country, they have their issues but seem to be handling things better then Boston.

This might be news to you but Boston has very good sports franchises beyond football.

Yeah it was a bit brisk in Houston the last couple days. I actually had to pre-warm my car to defrost the windshields before just driving off to work. The horror!

That, and the lack of snowpack for drinking water.
