Popping a water balloon in low gravity

No matter what you do, your job will never be as cool as this:

Mechanical engineers Seth Lichter and Mark Weislogel wondered what would happen if they popped water balloons aboard NASA’s low-gravity aircraft. Aside from the “fun factor,” as Weislogel puts it, the results demonstrate some basic principles of physics.

The short version is that because there’s no gravity, the only force acting on the contents of the balloon is surface tension, and so you get a big sphere of water that doesn’t fall apart. There’s some pretty cool video on the linked page.
