Porn actress fees

If anyone knows, what kimd of money does a female actress in an amateur porn production ear?

Just gotta know…
W

In ear porn, as in regular porn, the kimd of money is subject to negotiation. Perhaps dual ear penetration would pay more?

Well, I’ve got cites but I’m not sure if I should post them. Not all of them are porn cites but most of them probably link to cites that depict explicit sex of one sort of another. I think a Google search would back up what I’m about to say, though. Also, I should say, my information might not be one hundred per cent up-to-date, but it’s close. I’ve had reason to research this in the past.

There’s quite a bit of variation in a porn star’s pay. It’s kind of like a rock star. Some of them make enough to buy mansions and fancy cars; others don’t make enough to buy beer and cigarettes.

Generally, girls make between a few hundred bucks a scene and two thousand per scene, although who the girl is and what exactly she’s doing affects the price. Guys make about half as much.

Of course some people become contract stars which usually takes the guesswork out of it. The nature of the contracts vary.

Then of course there’s money from magazines, the stripping circuit, and so forth.

What the hell is the rule for posting a questionable cite, anyway? Can I just post a good hint?

Playboy discussed this in an article between one and two years ago. I think it was in their “Advisor” collumn. I think that’s archived now on the web somewhere.

Sites linked have to be at least 2 clicks away from objectionable content.

I’ll only post this information if you let me write a preamble about how I know it.

I read the blog at Wil Wheaton’s website. A while back, he bragged that a real-life porn star complimented his site. he made it sound really funny and provided a link, so I clicked it, not expecting to see real porn.

I wound up at the website of Asia Carrera, a real-life porn star and member of Mensa (!). Like Wil, she manages her site on her own and takes quite a bit of pride in it.

In her FAQ, she says:

I haven’t provided a link to her site on purpose. If you’re interested and industrious, I’m sure you can find your own way.

OP: If anyone knows, what kimd of money does a female actress in an amateur porn production ear?
Wouldn’t amateur mean not professional, as in not paid? If so, the only remuneration an “amateur” porn actress would get is a money shot.

I’m taking this info from the Rec/Arts/Move/Erotica website, which has, I believe, the definitive answer to porn payment:
How much do porn stars make?

Jerry Butler in his book “Raw Talent”…claimed that actresses made in the $1000-1500 range…, [while] the male actors made about a third of that, $300-500 a day. Of course, considerations for number of scenes and star power were made for the women. Rumors had Savannah making $10,000 per film and Seka allegedly wants $100,000 to do another film. Neither of these figures have been verified.

Frontline’s 1987 documentary of the Shauna Grant suicide, “Death of a Porn Queen” mentions that actresses got as much as $1,000 a day for making videos.

Brandy Alexandre says:

…[P]erformers are only paid the day they shoot the video. There are no royalties for sales or rentals, and there are no extra payments when footage is used in another feature…

Most movies are shot in a single day. Most of the time they are shot in twos - two movies in two days - to cut down on equipment rental costs. The men are paid between $250 and $400 a day and women are paid $300 to $700 a day. The variations depend on what is called for in the individual scenes and how many scenes you will be doing that day.

Girls make much more money on the road dancing. A great number of actresses today are doing movies just to enhance their marketability as strippers.

An [unidentified] adult film star …says: “Females make from $300 to $1000 a scene, unless they are under contract, in which case the price jumps considerably. But contract girls only work a fraction of the time of freelancers, and won’t make as much in the long run. Guys make from $200-$500 a scene, unless they are under contract, etc. …”

Jim Gunn, producer/director of the Strap-On Sally series (among others) down at Pleasure Productions has this to say:

Most actresses get paid by scene. Pay anywhere from $200-1000 for a scene depending on who, what, to whom etc. Anal, D.P., Gangbangs, ‘Big Stars’, all get paid more.

Scenes do not take all day typically. Several hours is common, and many performers are watching the clock to run to a second set that same day. Only certain contract girls may get paid per movie. Each of these deals are unique of course. Many movies are shot two at a time over a two-three day period with the relevant performers only sticking around while they have upcoming scenes. Again, this depends on the scale of the movie… and the performers. It’s probably safe to say that there is no set pay scale and you get what you negotiate.

Tim Evanson passes this along:

In gay porn, actors usually make more money than their male hetero porn counter parts. According to statements made by gay porn stars in Dave Kinnick’s SORRY I ASKED, the average gay porn star in 1993 made about $500-800 per film, whether it’s one scene or several. Some gay porn stars…have claimed to make up to $1,500 per picture due to their star drawing power. However, problem performers often earn at the lower end of the spectrum: According to the book WONDER BREAD AND ECSTASY, Joey Stefano’s drug problems depressed his salary under the $500 mark at the end of his career.

Newcomer gay porn stars say that salaries for newbies in gay porn now run around $1,000 per picture, and the Adam Film World Gay Video 1997 Directory says that Ryan Idol commanded upwards of $20,000 for his last film, IDOL IN THE SKY.

I think we talked about Fluffers here once or twice.

Heres a pretty good site about the adult film industry. There aren’t any obscene pictures on it that I know of, but it’s chocked full of info:

Ear porn? Does that involve aural sex?

Actually there is no need for aural sex as auras can be cloned without need for sex. You don’t believe me?

The only time I ever saw an actual company advertising to buy amateur porno footage they were offering to pay per video not on a salary basis. As I recall, anyone could send them videos and they would pay something like ten dollars per minute for what they actually used.

Does this mean the google frontpage is disqualified?

What’s objectionable about google?

(And if a mod happens to stop by maybe you can fix the link in my previous post? XieXie much)
