I saw this bizarre story on the NYDN website-very strange story. First of all-how does a 20-year old man wind up with a 65 year old? Portugal is a very conservative country-what was this kid’s mother thinking-was the old guy a “rich uncle”?
Anyway, the bizarre nature of the murder and mutilation (castrated with a corkscrew?)-does this kid stand to get off using the insanity defense?

I don’t know what the laws in New York say about insanity defenses. The guy is having his head examined for obvious reasons.
