When I was going to reply to them asking about it, I found that the reply was to SafeHarbor@earthlink.net and not at ebay. When I tried to open the link, I got nothing. Anyone have advice on this? I am hesitant to email them if it is a scam. I do have an ebay account, but I have not recieved anything like this before. Ebay’s contact links are pretty worthless also for this kind of thing.
Thanks!

has scam written all over it…
just trying to get your credit card number most likely

Most likely, the site has already been reported and has been shut down, but in the future if you get one of these suspicious emails go here to send the email with full headers to eBay:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/select-RS.html
Select: Member Problems > Contact Information / Identity Offenses > A user is representing oneself as a as an eBay employee when they are not.

Also, is your user ID your email address? Most of the people who receive these emails have ID’s like this. You might want to consider changing your ID.

The URL takes you to a site hosted by “Alabanza, Inc.” out of Balitmore. If it were eBay, it would be hosted by Ebay.

This is a scam and a half.

Thanks everyone! And Friggae, I hadn’t found that. I get one of these about once a month advertising something, but this one seemed a little too true. Thanks for the links!
