Possible human malaria vaccine

Malaria vaccine becomes first to achieve WHO-specified 75% efficacy goal | EurekAlert! Science News.

Ha! I just texted this to someone because I’m getting the same company’s (Novavax) COVID vaccine this AM.

I didn’t realize the novavax vaccine had been approved anywhere. Where do you live, if your are willing to share?

Texas. It’s a study I’m participating in.

Oh cool! Thanks for your service.

A good malaria vaccine would be excellent!

Really important for the future as tropical conditions expand from global warming.

This is huge: malaria causes 400,000 deaths per year - and 228 million cases and associated respiratory, anaemic, and neurological effects. It is a developmental roadblock and it would be fantastic if we could limit its spread. Malaria - Wikipedia
