Can I determine the direction of beard grow by touch? I have extremely hairy neck and the growth seems to be different for different areas.
If I encounter lots of “resistance” in one direction, is that against the grain or with the grain?
Of course you can. With the grain will feel “smoother” (e.g., run your hand downwards on your cheek). Against the grain will feel more bristly (upwards on your cheek, or, in most cases, under your chin towards the front).
