Possible to test for presence/quantity of vitamin C in a home lab?

My daughter is proposing a science fair project involving affect of various environmental variables on vitamin C in nutritional substances (probably OJ). But she doesn’t know how to tell how much vitamin C is in something.

Is there a method that can be done in a modest home lab to do comparative quant analysis on concentration of vitamin C? She doesn’t have to necessarily measure it in milligrams, but should be able to tell if one sample of a substance has more or less vitamin C than another sample of the same substance.

I found one description but I haven’t tried it and don’t know if it’s credible:

If we need $500 worth of lab equipment and 150 sq ft of floor space to set this up then it ain’t happening.
