Post titles not showing up in mobile version

In this thread - https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=875277 - beginning at post 16, a lot of posts with YouTube links were made.

These posts contained context of the YouTube link in the post title. Unfortunately using the mobile version and the Sultantheme’s Responsive vB3-blue theme, post titles do not appear while in portrait mode. The post titles do show up in landscape mode.

I got a little ticked at posters throwing out a YouTube link with no context added. Turns out the context is there, in the post title, which was hidden from me.

I wonder what other information I’ve missed over the years because of this glitch?

I guess this is an FYI for those using the same theme as I. The Straight Dope v.3.7.3 shows the titles in portrait mode, but I don’t like that theme.

I’ll pass this on to the tech guys, that is really weird.

Anyone else seeing problems like this on the mobile side?

Oh Tuba, if the same theme is rotated to landscape mode, I can see posters locations, IF they have provided one.

In portrait mode the location is absent. Actually this is what clued me in to the portrait/landscape issue with the thread titles.

I think it’s a feature of Sultana that content is displayed or not depending on the available screen space given the text size and orientation of the screen. It may be related to that.
