My nickname is taken from Alan Dean Foster’s Spellsinger novel series - Clothahump is the Elderly Turtle Wizard. I’m also greatly into geocaching. Therefore SWMBO, who is much more talented than I am, came up with Clothahump Holding A GPS Unit.

Formerly, I used the large photo of the moon (“radiance” when you set the default desktop) that comes with Windows. But recently I had to reinstall Windows (long story) and found a picture of me on vacation, taken at the world famous I-80 World’s Largest Truckstop in Iowa, where I purchased one of my most treasured possessions, my Tire Thumper. Kinda fits my current mood lately.

This is what my desktop looks like right now. The wallpaper is the newest one from Digital Blasphemy, but it’s a members-only image.
I’ve been using Webshots for years (and before that I used Second Nature – shout out to Zeldar!), and have way more wallpaper images than I know what to do with. I love them all. 
This is a sunset in Hamilton, Ontario, that I took with a Kodak Instamatic camera, circa 1987. I use it at work as my background. A lot of people have commented on it!
My little puppy boy
I had this one on my desktop for a long time after it was taken last February. It’s me in my Nissan 350Z at Virginia International Raceway.
Then last summer I switched to this one, since track pictures in bright sunshine are a dime a dozen, and we run in the rain, too. (Although usually not in this much of a downpour. I pulled into the pits shortly after this shot was taken.) It’s VIR again, last July.
And after seeing a show on PBS about the Mandelbrot set a couple of months ago, I found WinCIG a freeware program that lets you create your own fractal pix, and I made a bunch of wallpapers. This is one of them.
