Post your first name here!

Briana, sounds like Zyada, which rhymes with Miata.

And I answer to both, or Breezy. (but only Mom calls me that anymore)

Natasha, but I personally prefer Tasha. It’s shorter, and it’s cuter than the first name, although I have gotten some pretty strange nicknames.

another Sarah

Silver_fire & SmoothOperator have you ever noticed that if you tell people it has an H they spell it Shara? I hate that.

Yes, and most of those, I think, are independent of your first name. At least, the nicknames I’ve given you . . .

Uhhh, Robin. I spell it with a y to avoid gender confusion. I also hate Batman jokes.

Robin

You’re kidding, right? Shara?!?

P.S.: I like your handle, by the way…

My cat’s name is Inigo! Neat! (As you might guess, I always thought it was a neat name.) There’s pix of him on my web pages, of course.

And, in case my sig line doesn’t give it away for yah…

I’m Laura.

My name is Emilee, which is incredibly common in my area (though it is usually spelled Emily.) When I was in fifth grade I was on a softball team with three other Emil(ee)(y)s. Three of us were in the outfield, one was the catcher. Imagine the confusion when someone shouted “Emily, its yours!”

Cracker. :D:D Just kidding. Actually it’s Pat. But my friends call me, well, Pat.

I’m also Kristen.

first: Justin
middle: Kent

Strangely, my friends all address me by my last name (see sig)

JESSICA

Jacqueline.

I am very proud of having a first name with the letter “q” in it. I think that makes me very special.

However, too many people just automatically call me “Jackie”, which pisses me off. I only tolerate close family to calling me that. So, in order to avoid being called “Jackie”, I only go by my initials. If people don’t know my first name, they can’t put a nickname to it.

Candace, but I hate it. And everyone spells it Candice. That’s annoying.

If I had my choice I really would be Talera, or Sabrina. Or maybe Verity. Just something a lot prettier and with a lot more style.

Oh and Virgil, I love that name. I’ve got a thing for the older male names like Virgil and Ambrose and Jules.

Dan.

Kara is my daughter’s name too. I have got to say, I don’t think there is a single other Kara in her whole school.

My name is Dana. I always thought that my parents purposefully gave me a guy’s name just to screw up my whole life. Why didn’t they name me Kimberly, which was supposedly their other choice?

Don’t get into all my nicknames now. There’s too many of them.

Katya. Some people call me Katie or Kat.

Hello there, Kevin here.

I also go by “KC”.

Or . . .

Karyn here. Yes, with a ‘y’. Pleased to meetcha.

Nicknames, now that’s a whole 'nother kettle of fish. I have several nicknames. Tigger<yes, for the reason you think :p>, Rice Krispies <no giggles please >, Chela, purplebear <d’uh>, and the most recent one is nursebear<ask Paddy what it means;)>
