People have shit that they talk about. Qadgop is renowned for popping up in medical threads, cos, y’know, he’s a fucking DOCTOR!

Similarly Zev Steinhart can be relied on to bring up a Hamantaschen thread every year! Hi Zev!

We know that Stoid is neurotic about pitbulls, and that Shayna is fond of them too. We know that Foggy suffers from depression, and that** lieu** is somewhat of a shitty poster! I must admit, lieu has been less shitty in the last ten years…he’s moved on from that movement!

I could add umpteen other posters with their ‘thing’ but this is what makes us a community, and not just a bunch of pixels on a screen. We have personalities and we have HISTORY. Don’t you have RL friends who forever bring up their same problems every time you meet? The same dramas, the same shit each and every time?? I certainly do, and I love them all the same!

I’m probably viewed as a bit Nava-like in that I tend to mention I’m Scottish/living in the UK in most of my posts.

I know I’m not a regular enough poster to assume that people remember my nationality and whereabouts though, and the assumption otherwise is that posters here are from the US.

I wonder if anyone ever paid for a membership because they were just dying to use the “location” field. Limiting that option is a detriment to the board overall.

I always get disappointed that I never appear in snarky threads like this. Sure like everyone else I would like to be universally loved, but I am a realist. It’s ego-shattering though to realize you’ve left so little impression that no-one can even summon up the energy to dislike you after almost 2500 posts. Some Johnny-come-latelys seem to summon up maelstroms of hate the minute they step onto the board, but there does not seem to be any recognition for those mildly-objectionable people who plod away year after year.
